At Math Star, we are dedicated to helping students improve their grades and build a deep understanding of mathematics. Our goal is not just to teach math, but to help students think mathematically, develop strong problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in their abilities.

We offer two specialized tutoring services to meet different student needs:

• School Curriculum Support
  We help students succeed in their school math courses by strengthening fundamentals, improving understanding, and guiding them toward achieving their target grades.

• Math Competition Preparation
  We prepare students for top math competitions in Canada and internationally. Our training focuses on advanced problem-solving, logical reasoning, and strategies required for contest success.

We support students preparing for major contests such as:

• University of Waterloo CEMC Contests: Gauss (Grades 7–8), Pascal (Grade 9), Cayley (Grade 10), Fermat (Grade 11), and Euclid (Grade 12)

• Canadian Math Kangaroo Contest (Grades 1–12)

• Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge (COMC) (Grades 7–12)

• Canadian Mathematical Olympiad (CMO) and CJMO

• AMC 10/12 (American Mathematics Competitions)

• Additional contests such as Fryer, Galois, Hypatia, Caribou, and other enrichment competitions

Our team of experienced tutors follows a structured and personalized approach. We begin with our own test assessments to evaluate each student’s level, identify areas for improvement, and create a clear plan with a timeline to achieve their goals.

We offer both online and in-person tutoring, providing flexibility and convenience. With small class sizes and focused attention, we ensure every student stays on track and continues to improve.
